Documentary photography in it's essence is completely authentic and if done well, tells a story. I am a moment-seeker: observing the smallest of details and interactions which allows me to capture your family's connections. As a parent, seeing your family in print, will elicit strong emotions because you are witnessing who you are now; not just a framable moment.

Where do we start?

Let's get a drink, talk about what embarrasses you, makes you laugh until your gut aches, and your soul swell with pride. You'll know if you like me enough to hang out for a couple hours or a full day and we will make grand plans from there. If this sound like your idea of fun, just shoot me an email or call me.

A $250 non-refundable retainer and signed client agreement will secure your date and time.

How long is a session?

This depends on what you want to do. It could be as short as an hour or from sunrise to sunset. The length of your session really depends on your family dynamics and what you want to get out of your time with me.

When do we get to see our images?

Approximately 3-4 weeks after your session, I will have your proof gallery ready to share. At this point, we will meet in studio or at your home for viewing and ordering. 

How long before we receive our products?

For mounted prints, please give 3 weeks. Albums and framed prints will arrive in approximately 6 weeks.

The meeting should last approximately an hour. If you think that is a short amount of time, I promise you that with my help and the time we have spent prior to this get-together, things will move smoothly. You will receive a product guide after your session that will make selecting sizes easier. I also will guide you throughout the entire ordering process to make sure your selections fit your desires and budget. All print products and digital files are purchased separately via A la Carte or Collections.

How much should we expect to invest?

Clients typically invest between $1250-$2500 for their custom photography. Please contact me for detailed pricing and collection information, as well as customized payment plans.
